After a surreal day in which the sun shone and rain poured in equal measure, Bob Dylan took the stage to perform his only UK performance of the year. His set was blinding, with highlights ranging from a growling, pacing Things Have Changed to a stareyoudownacrossthetable Ballad of a Thin Man via a trip back to Highway 61.
He spoke only once during the show, to introduce His Band, and his sole acknowledgement of the crowd was a pause and a look before turning in for the night. Between the two, the audience was gifted an encore of Blowin' In The Wind, All Along The Watchtower, and a rousing rendition of Like a Rolling Stone, only slightly wrong footing an enraptured crowd."
