Bob Dylan is set to spend New Year in his recently renovated Scottish home.
The legendary singer - real name Robert Zimmerman - and his brother David Zimmerman splashed out £2.2 million on Aultmore House in Inverness-shire last year and have spent the last 12 months decorating it.
The property, which is situated in 25 acres of woodland near Nethy Bridge, is now ready and Dylan is keen to see in 2008 there.
A source told Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "It is ready to move into.
Nethy Bridge locals are placing bets on who will be first to spot Bob Dylan and how much whisky he will be buying."
However, locals are worried Dylan's devoted fans will swarm the area in the hope of seeing their idol.
The source added: "There is a real fear that a stream of fans will pour into the remote area for New Year following their guru.
Everyone is agreeing not to rent out rooms to keep the place as quiet and traditional as possible."
