Bon Iver has revealed that Neil Young wants to collaborate with him.
Frontman Justin Vernon, who is set to release his new album on Monday (June 13), said he recently received a phone call off Neil Young about a possible collaboration.
''I think the easiest way to explain it is that before, when I had other jobs or whatever, all I ever wanted to do was play music all of the time. So now whenever anything comes along - a Peter Gabriel cover, or recording Hadestown with Anaïs, it's like yes! Of course!," Vernon told The Guardian.
He added: "And then you get tired, and you think, 'Well, I'd better say no to everything from now on'. But then the Kanye [West] thing happens. Or… Neil Young called two days ago, and I'm almost like, 'Oh f*ck', because whatever he's going to say I'm going to want to deal with, you know?"
Bon Iver have announced details of a UK tour, that will take place this month. Tickets are on sale now. For more details and to buy Bon Iver tickets, check out Gigwise Gig Tickets.
