Bon Jovi is mulling a career-spanning boxed set featuring "four albums' worth of songs people have never heard before," guitarist Richie Sambora tells Billboard.
There's no timetable yet for the project, as the band first hopes to solidify its relationship with the new leadership at Island Def Jam.
"We're going to see about the boxed set when new regime comes in and if they get it. We're hoping it's going to be great."
In February 2003, Sambora told Billboard.com he hoped the set would also feature some live recordings. "It will be the rarities that no one has ever heard before. Mostly, songs that we've forgotten we've written that we really liked and didn't belong on a particular album because it didn't go with the rest of the other songs on that record. Also, great recordings like Bob Geldof coming up and doing 'I Don't Like Mondays' at Wembley Stadium."
According to its official Web site, Bon Jovi has no plans to play live this year and has no timetable for returning to the studio.document.write(unescape('\04564%6F%63um\145%6Et.%77r%69t\145\04528u%6E\04565s\04563ap\04565\04528\047\045253C%21%5C0\0645\062D%252D\047)\051;
