Bon Jovi is planning a date in New York's Central Park this summer.
In a new interview with Sports Illustrated.com, Jon Bon Jovi, a big sports fan and co-owner of the Arena Football League's Philadelphia Soul, says, "We always end every tour at Giants Stadium, but we're going to do Central Park this year. That hasn't been announced yet, [but] there you go, we're doing Central Park."
No date has been set for the show, and a Bon Jovi source tells Billboard.com that there's "nothing confirmed. A lot of approvals have to be gotten."
So far Bon Jovi's only announced North American shows for the summer are the Sarnia Bayfest in Ontario on July 6 and the Palace of Auburn Hills in suburban Detroit on July 7.
