Despite the departure of Krayzie Bone in April, all five members of legendary hip-hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony will come together for a final farewell performance in their hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, on July 23.
"They ain't seen us, all five, since Flesh came out [of prison in 2008]," Bizzy Bone told MTV News. "We ain't been able to really put on a showcase for 'em, and this is a beautiful platform. It's gonna be thousands and thousands and thousands of people there, and it's Cleveland's birthday."
The performance, which will take place on Cleveland's 215th birthday, will also feature Ohio-based artists Stalley and Ray Cash. Ten thousand people are expected to attend the four-day homecoming celebration, including Drake, who will be visiting the city for a second time to perform alongside the Ohio natives. "I am honored to share this moment with the City of Cleveland," Drake said. "I will do all I can to show my appreciation for a place that has always faithfully supported my music since day one."
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony haven't shared the stage for the past 2 years. This will certainly be a spectacle worth seeing for hip-hop fans and Clevelanders alike.
