Breed 77 sign exclusive deals for Japan, Spain and all South American Hispanic rock markets!!
Following their success in the UK rock scene, including top 40 singles and over 40,000 UK album sales, Breed 77 are delighted to announce the signing of two exclusive licence deals which will see them prioritized for release in Japan, SE Asia, Spain and the Hispanic rock markets of South America.
First up, SIDEOUT records Japan will be releasing the highly acclaimed Ron St Germain produced "In My Blood (En Mi Sangre)" album in July this year. Says respected MD Takeshi Matamura, "Breed 77 have a unique flamenco rock sound which we think will do very well in Japan".
Secondly, PAGANA records (DRO/Atlantic) will be releasing the new Breed 77 Spanish vocal album "Un Encuentro" in Spain in October this year and thereafter taking Breed's unique flamenco rock sound to the Hispanic markets of South America. This is a major coup for the Gibraltarian latino rockers as Pagana has an unrivalled share in world latino rock markets with their artist Maga-de-oz, whose 4 million plus album sales make them one of the most successful hispanic rock artists of all time. Breed 77 will be nurtured by the Pagana team and will see their album released through the Dro/Atlantic Warner distribution set up. Says head of Pagana, Emilio Ortiz "We are so excited about Breed 77 – they are a unique rock act which fits into the anglo active rock scene as well as being perfect for the huge hispanic rock markets. We expect them to be a very big success in the near future!"
Before charging off to prepare for their promo assault, there is the small matter of two high profile performances in Germany at Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park (June 1st and 2nd) where the band will play on the same bill as Megadeth, Dragonforce and Chimaira!
Exciting and rewarding times indeed for both band and original label, Albert Productions, whose belief in the band and great rock music has never wavered. For Albert Productions MD, David Albert, this is a perfect synergy – "The hispanic rock market will finally get the chance to hear a great rock band deliver a unique sound in both Spanish and English. Following last years number 1 airplay hit on USA rock station KMBY 103.9 FM, which feeds both a US active rock and Hispanic population, we knew we had the right creative balance for both the act and market".document.write(unescape("
