Bright Eyes album and dates

Bright Eyes are set to release the follow-up to 2005's simultaneously released albums "I'm Wide Awake It's Morning" and "Digital Ash In A Digital Urn". Titled "Cassadaga", for a spiritualist community in Central Florida, the album was recorded with core-members Conor Oberst, Nate Walcott and Mike Mogis at sessions in New York City, Los Angeles, Portland Oregan and Lincoln Nebraska.

In traditional Bright Eyes fashion, the album features a host of guest musicians, namely Gillian Welch, Janet Weiss (Quasi, ex-Sleater Kinney), M.Ward, Maria Taylor, Ben Kweller, Andy Lemaster (Now Its Overhead) and Jason Boesel (Rilo Kiley).

Bright Eyes penned a deal in 2006 with Polydor in the UK to release Bright Eyes records in all territories worldwide excluding N. America where Conor and co. remain on their hometown label Saddle Creek records in Omaha, Nebraska.

"Cassadaga" is released on Polydor on 9th April, preceded a week earlier by single "Four Winds"
