The Hollywood action man has three daughters with his ex-wife Demi Moore – 22-year-old Rumer, 19-year-old Scout and Tallulah, 16. Bruce has a close relationship with his children and they enjoy spending quality time together.
The 55-year-old star has revealed his kids like to make jokes about his advancing age and tease him about his lack of hair.
“They keep me young,” he explained in an interview for British television show Daybreak. “They do make fun of my age, they like to play with my hair from time to time and I’m forced to remind them that maybe I just got lucky because I don’t have to spend so much time on my hairdo.”
Even though his daughters are no longer kids, Bruce still feels fiercely protective of them. He has previously joked about giving their boyfriends a hard time and says he never wants to see his girls get hurt. The actor would do anything in his power to keep them safe and has revealed he taught them how to look after themselves from a young age.
“Yes I do feel protective of them. I would kill people in the name of not messing with my kids. I taught them a little thing when they were younger and they actually protect themselves now,” he explained. “I told them to walk up to any young guy who is shoving them around in the playground and scream in their face that it’s not OK to be mean. It works too. Try it.
“You have to get right up to their face and scream at the top of your lungs, ‘Hey! It’s not OK to be mean!’”
