Bryan Adams has become a father for the second time, the musician confirms.
The 53-year-old Canadian rocker and his partner Alicia Grimaldi are elated to give their daughter 22-month-old Bunny a sibling.
Bunny now has a sister named Lula RosyLea.
The couple couldn't be more delighted.
"Bryan Adams and Alicia Grimaldi welcomed their second baby girl in London earlier this week," Bryan's representatives told People magazine.
Bryan reveals that Lula RosyLea's interesting name was derived largely on the spot.
Apparently she entered the world during a long held British tradition.
"Lula RosyLea decided to arrive at tea time," Bryan told the publication.
"RosyLea is cockney rhyming slang in London for 'cup of tea' and the name Lula comes from Gene Vincent's song 'Be-Bop-A-Lula.' "
Bryan will kick off his European tour in Berlin, Germany on March 11.
His first book of photography entitled Exposed was released in November.
Bryan and Alicia are co-founders of The Bryan Adams Foundation, a charity which aims to financially support people who are committed to bettering the lives of others through philanthropic pursuits.
