Bryan Adams has written a song for Amy Winehouse.
The Canadian singer, who let the troubled star stay at his Caribbean home over the New Year, has penned 'Flower Grown Wild' as a warning to drug addicted Amy that she is flirting with death.
A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Bryan was so worried about Amy when she came to stay. It's an unlikely friendship but Bryan has taken her under his wing, and he would be distraught if anything ever happened to her."
Lyrics in the track include "Amid the stars and the bars, the pimps and the pills" and "the picture faded and the day was done, went home to nothin' but a loaded gun."
Amy is said to be so touched by the song, she has agreed to perform it with Bryan when he goes on tour later this year. Although Amy completed a stint in rehab which started at the end of January, she appears to have fallen back into her old ways and is said to be abusing drink and drugs.
