Roxy Music star Bryan Ferry has revealed that Kate Moss and Jamie Hince selected one of the band's songs as the first dance at their wedding.
Ferry performed a number of the band’s hits at the ceremony earlier this month after being flown in especially at the supermodel's request.
He said: “We did the festival at Hop Farm in Kent, then they sent this enormous helicopter – I didn’t know they existed that big – to pick me and the band up. We did the show at midnight.
“Her first dance was 'If There Is Something' from the first Roxy Music album. Kate knows her Roxy onions – I’m very flattered she likes what we do.
“You do 'Avalon', and 'Love is the Drug', and 'Slave to Love' is always a winner.”
Meanwhile, speaking to the Radio Times, Ferry also revealed that he was forced to undergo hospital tests earlier this year because of an abnormal heart rhythm.
