Making a rare public appearance, Bryan Ferry will visit HMV's flagship store on Oxford Street in London's West End this coming Thursday 11th November.
The legendary Roxy Music frontman will be at the store from 5.30pm to meet fans and sign copies of his acclaimed new album Olympia, which is released through Virgin Records and is available in four formats: standard CD, Deluxe CD (with DVD), Collector's Edition (with book), and Deluxe Vinyl.
The album features Kate Moss on its cover, in a pose that draws inspiration from the Nineteenth Century impressionist painting of the same title by Edouard Manet.
Roxy Music will be embarking on their first UK tour in over a decade in Jan/Feb 2011 ' and tickets, which are currently available through hmvtickets.com, can be purchased at the store's hmvtickets kiosk on the day. The seven-date tour, which is presented by HMV and Mean Fiddler in arrangement with WME, celebrates the band's 40th anniversary, and will feature the original line-up of Bryan Ferry, Phil Manzanera, Andy Mackay and Paul Thompson.
