Overview
BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE are the latest band confirmed to play the very first SONISPHERE Festival, and this will be the only UK festival they play this year.
The homegrown heroes also announced that due to recording commitments, they must cancel their appearance at Hammerfest in April. However, the Welsh quartet plan to more than make up for it at Knebworth.
Already confirmed for SONISPHERE 2009 are ALICE IN CHAINS and AVENGED SEVENFOLD (who both play their only 2009 UK shows at SONISPHERE) metal gods MACHINE HEAD in their only UK festival appearance, one of the most exciting underground rock bands of the moment THE SWORD, plus multi-million selling legends THIN LIZZY. Of course, headliners do not come any bigger than SONISPHERE's METALLICA and LINKIN PARK.
