Busta Rhymes may be questioned in relation to the shooting of his bodyguard, Israel Ramirez.
The video for a remix of Rhymes' current single 'Touch It' began filming on a soundstage in Brooklyn on Sunday (5 February) but an altercation halted proceedings.
Police believe that violence began in a warehouse, then moved to the street. Ramirez was killed with a single shot to the chest.
"We believe Busta Rhymes may have been on the street when the shooting took place," said Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly. "We are interested in the filming that went on. So all of that film will be examined with a subpoena."
The video had a cast of 500 including rap royalty, including Missy Elliott and Lloyd Banks of G-Unit.document.write(unescape("
