Overview
Cali Swag District will remain as is – the group will not replace the late member M-Bone, who was shot and killed in Inglewood, CA on May 15th. The killer is still at large.
"We're just focused on staying positive and doing what we were doing prior to this incident," CSD's C-Smoove told MTV News. "Basically, make M-Bone's legacy and his name live on through us forever, as long as we do it. We don't feel like this is a time for us to stop; we feel like this is a time for us to go harder."
Smoove said, "We won't be replacing M-Bone. Nobody will ever be able to say, 'I'm the new fourth,' and 'I filled in because of this.'" The group is currently working on a new mixtape called Deeper Than the Dougie.
