DJ Calvin Harris has scrapped two additional gigs in Las Vegas to recover from injuries he sustained in a car accident.
The How Deep Is Your Love hitmaker was scheduled to perform at Hakkasan Nightclub on Thursday (26May16) and at Omnia Nightclub at Caesars Palace on Friday (27May16), but the Sin City shows have been axed.
Both venues issued statements on Thursday confirming the cancellations were because the star is not well enough to carry out the engagements.
However, representatives for the Scottish musician, real name Adam Wiles, revealed in a post on his Facebook page he is planning on returning to his previous touring schedule as soon as possible.
"Adam is still recovering from the injuries sustained in the car accident last Friday," the social media message reads. "Unfortunately, as a result he will not be able to perform in Las Vegas at Hakkasan tonight, 5/26 and Omnia tomorrow, 5/27. He has asked us to pass on his apologies to everyone who was due to attend the shows and hopes to be back to his normal schedule soon."
Last Friday (20May16), the 32-year-old dance music producer was a passenger in a sports utility vehicle that collided with an oncoming car while his driver was taking him to the airport.
He suffered a laceration on his nose that was treated by doctors, but medical professionals advised him to rest up for a few days, prompting him to cancel his headline set at the Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama, on Saturday (21May16) and return to his Beverly Hills home.
A source previously informed E! News Calvin - who is currently dating Taylor Swift - was in shock following the crash, but is "doing better" day by day.
"He is keeping an eye on his body to make sure he is 100 per cent this week," the insider added.
