Overview
Carla Bruni - the Italian songwriter, singer and model, and wife of French President Nicolas Sarkozy - has released her latest album.
It is the first since she took up residence in the Elysee Palace and her civic duties.
The title of the 14-track album Comme si de rien n'etait (As If Nothing Had Happened) may reveal more than just it's title and French press have been speculating on its meaning.
The 40-year-old has become a popular first lady but the coming weeks will show just exactly how much the French population has taken to her.
