Tapestry star and acclaimed songwriter Carole King will release her autobiography next year.
Carole King has certainly led an interesting life, not only due to the success of her megahit album Tapestry but as the woman who Billboard called the most successful female songwriter of the years spanning 1955 to 1999.
Her memoir is titled A Natural Woman after the Aretha Franklin hit she wrote with husband Gerry Goffin and legendary producer Jerry Wrexler.
It will be published by Grand Central Publishing, an imprint of Hachette Book Group.
Deb Futter, VP and Editor-in-Chief, Hardcovers Division said in a press release, "Carole King is one of the most beloved, iconic singer-songwriters of our time. It will be a thrill to bring her life's journey to her devoted following who have waited for so long to read her story in prose."
A Natural Woman is due for release in April next year.
