French actress Catherine Deneuve shames a woman 47 years younger than her in the latest pictorial ad from designer Marc Jacobs.
Jaobs cast his favorite muses - aged 23 to 70 - in a typical haute couture stark final ad campaign for Louis Vuitton.
The Daily Mail reports that Marc Jacobs had his fashion icons Catherine Deneuve, Sofia Coppola, Gisele Bьndchen, Fan Bingbing, Caroline de Maigret and model Edie Campbell star in his spring 2014 advertisement.
At 70, Catherine Deneuve - a longtime muse to Mr Jacobs - is the campaign's oldest subject and hottest babe of the bunch.
Meanwhile Edie Campbell, 23, can barely hold a candle with the actress who could be her grandmother.
Ostensibly the composition and the expressions of the "muses" and models is meant to effect an "emotional" response, according to the report.
The purses are predictably expensive.
Jacobs’s position at the house has been filled by former Balenciaga designer Nicolas Ghesquiиre, who will present his first collection as creative director during the approaching Paris Fashion Week this March.
