Celine Dion remembered her late husband Rene Angelil as she performed My Heart Will Go On on Thursday night (04Aug16).
The 47-year-old singer appeared on the live finale of U.S. TV show Greatest Hits via satellite from her concert in Montreal, Canada, and belted out her Titanic theme song much to the delight of her audience and viewers.
Prior to performing the song, Celine said: "My Heart Will Go On has been an important song in my life for nearly two decades. Now and tonight, I'm very honoured to sing it for all of you and for the love of my life. Rene, you will always be in my heart."
Rene, who was married to Celine for 21 years, died in January (16) aged 73 after a long battle with cancer.
Celine wasn't the only star to make an appearance on the two-hour Greatest Hits finale. The ABC series, hosted by Arsenio Hall and Kelsea Ballerini, has celebrated the music of the 1980s, '90s and '00s during its run, and enlisted the help of Ariana Grande and Adam Lambert for its epic conclusion at Los Angeles' Microsoft Theater on Thursday.
Ariana, 23, used the occasion to pay tribute to another fallen star, Whitney Houston, by performing her hits How Will I Know and Queen of the Night.
Prior to her performance, Ariana tweeted: "Honoured to be paying homage to my angel tonight. tune in to @greatesthitsabc at 9 #greatesthits #whitneyhouston."
Meanwhile, former American Idol contestant Adam showed off some serious hip-swivelling moves as he performed George Michael's Faith on the show. He was introduced by Kelsea, who told the crowd: "We have a multi-talented child of the '80s born back in 1982."
Other famous faces to appear on the show finale, which focused on hits released between 1980 and 2005, included Sheryl Crow, who teamed up with Kelsea for a performance, Flo Rida, John Legend, Hunter Hayes and Nelly.
