Chapel Club have said recording their debut album with producer Paul Epworth was “amazing”.
In an interview with Gigwise, singer Lewis Bowman said the group maintained a close relationship with Epworth in the studio.
“We kind of said that if we ever got signed and made an album that we wanted a producer to be like a sixth member of the band,” he said.
“Get someone who could bring something to the project and Paul was amazing. “
Bowman went on to say that Epworth, who has also worked with the likes of Adele and Cee Lo Green, was “very, very gifted and very clever”.
He added: “He’s very visual, he’ll give you some really crazy images and they always seemed to make sense.”
