His comments provoked a quick backlash from Cher Lloyd and her fans. He later added: 'Seems like I've p*ssed the official fanclub off..... L O L,' he said.
Meanwhile, Cher Lloyd is set to be massive in America, according to record executive LA Reid.
The judge, who helped the careers of Justin Bieber, Rihanna and Mariah Caery, predicts Lloyd's debut album will be massive when it's released state side next month.
