Overview
The 80-year-old will join Daniel Craig, Robin Wright, Stellan Skarsgård and newcomer Rooney Mara on the project, with filming for the highly anticipated big screen production reportedly already underway in Sweden.
Plummer, famed for his role in the 1965 Oscar-winning musical about the Von Trapp family, will play Henrik Vanger in the highly anticipated movie, Entertainment Weekly reports.
Vanger hires Craig’s character, journalist Mikael Blomkvist, to solve the mystery surrounding his missing niece in the best-selling book.
