Cirque Du Soleil announce Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour

The Cirque Du Soleil and the estate of Michael Jackson today announced the planned launch of Michael Jackson The IMMORTAL World Tour.

Written and directed by Jamie King, the production will combine Jackson's music with the choreography and performance of the Cirque Du Soleil to "give fans worldwide a unique view into the spirit, passion and heart of the artistic genius who forever transformed global pop culture."

The tour will begin in eleven months in Montreal with the initial dates going through June 2012. The following are the announced dates:
