It's hard to replace the Big Man, so Bruce Springsteen has decided he needs two saxophone players on his upcoming tour to replace the late-Clarence Clemons.
One of those two saxophonists is Jake Clemons, the nephew of Clarence. It isn't his first appearance with the E-Street Band but it is his first tour. The other is Eddie Manion who has played with Springsteen on and off for many years.
Others announced for the tour today are also veterans from Bruce's past including Curt Ramm (trumpet), Clark Gayton (trombone), Barry Danielien (trumpet) and vocalists Cindy Mizelle and Curtis King.
Clemons is the son of a former Marine Corps band director and traveled across the country performing with his family. He had his first professional experience in 1992 playing at the inaugural celebration for Bill Clinton and, a few years later, by joining the ska/reggae band The Israelites. He also received national exposure for five years as the host of ABC Family's 1Cubed USA.
