It's been a long time coming if you ask me, but at last the bubbly female vocalist Cleo Sol has signed her first record contract with Island Records!
The singer from West London, has definitely had her Christmas present early as she signed on the dotted line this week at the label's offices.
Cleo's feel good track 'High' featuring Gappy Ranks dropped earlier this year, and showed off her singing talent. The label itself already boasts artists such as Florence and the Machine, Rizzlekicks and The Wanted, so she will be a great addition.
Cleo tweeted, 'Thank u guys for all ur support I've just signed with island records very happy and excited xxx'.
At Music News we wish her lots of luck and are looking forward to her music in 2012!
