Following his arrest for armed robbery of a pharmacy, Coheed and Cambria bassist Michael Todd has left the band.
In July, Todd was arrested for making a bomb threat at a Massachusetts pharmacy demanding Oxycontin.
Now, the nouveau prog-rock outfit has announced that he has split with the band in a statement on their tumblr.
They write: "After a lot of thought, introspection and discussion, Coheed and Cambria will be continuing our journey without bassist Michael Todd."
'We have spoken to him and this is a mutual decision between both parties. Michael was a great contributor; our hearts go out to his family and to all those who appreciate his talents."
Billboard reports that Todd has been temporarily replaced by Wes Styles.
