The 35-year-old actor said that while he's away on set, he likes to keep in touch with James, seven, and Henry, almost two, using the video communication site, although they don't share his enthusiasm.
'James doesn't really care,' he told USA Today. 'We tried this once, years ago. He didn't care for it. Actually, Henry is kind of bored with it already.'
James suffers from Angelman's Syndrome, a neuro-developmental disorder, which meant that he didn't start walking until just before his fourth birthday, and he does not have verbal speech.
But Farrell said that he seems to be improving all the time.
'He's doing phenomenal. Less and less and less do I see his condition. I'm just keenly aware of his personality. He's really cool.
'He's got an amazing team of people in his life. We have the seizures under control. He helps us in a way to be better people. He's so much fun to be around. I just am crazy about him. His health is good.'
