Virgin Mobile Union triumphantly returns for a second night at the Birmingham Barfly on Friday 20th October after selling out its debut gig last month. Fresh on the trail of their nationwide tour to promote their new album and single Homo Sapien, electronica infused prog punk rockers the Cooper Temple Clause will headline, with support from London's razor sharp post rock outfit Battle.
The second outing for Virgin Mobile's Union promises to be another massive night with DJ sets from the likes of electro kings Infadels and Kerrang Radio's finest Ugly Phil, ensuring the party will go on until 3am.
On top of all the music, Virgin Mobile will also be showing an exclusive first viewing of the Cooper Temple Clause's new video for Homo Sapien, which has been banned by MTV. A limited number of DVDs for the video, which are currently not on sale, will be given to a few lucky music fans on the night. Included on the limited edition DVD will be the censored and uncensored version of the video, a live song from Fuji Festival as well as an exclusive interview which will be filmed for Virgin Mobile BITES.
As if that wasn't enough, one lucky Virgin Mobile punter will win VIP treatment for them and three mates which includes their own personal Virgin Mobile Angel, who'll pick them up, whisk them straight past the queues and look after them all night. They won't even have to wait in line for the cloakroom or the bar!
Virgin Mobile customers simply need to text BEER to 26666 on arrival at the Barfly to be sorted with a drink.
Tickets cost £11.50 in advance and are available from www.barflyclub.com or 0870 907 0999.
