The sensational Corinne Bailey Rae - one of the artists most tipped for stardom in 2006 - celebrates the release of her new single, Put Your Records On', with a free show at HMV's 150 Oxford Street store in London's West End on Monday 20th February.
Corinne starts her performance at 5.30 pm, after which she remains in the store to meet fans and sign copies of the new single, which is released the same day. Corinne's live set will preview several songs from her forthcoming debut album, simply called ‘Corinne Bailey Rae', which is in stores on Monday 6th March.
Corinne, from Leeds, was recently voted the ‘Sound of 2006' by the BBC News website â€" a poll of 100 of the most influential journalists, broadcasters and producers in the UK. Corinne has also been tipped for the top by almost every newspaper and entertainment magazine while 'Put Your Records On' has been A-listed across most radio stations - including Radio 1, Radio 2 and Capital - with the video on heavy rotation across all UK music channels.
