It's no secret that 50 Cent and Eminem have amazing in-studio chemistry. The two hooked up early on a few mixtape tracks, but made their first official splash on "Patiently Waiting" from Fif's 2003 debut Get Rich or Die Tryin' and then again this week on the G-Unit head's new single "My Life."
Now what if Shady's Gatman and Robbin' gave us a tag-team album of their own, similar to Eminem and Royce da 5'9"'s Bad Meets Evil LP or Jay-Z and Kanye West's Watch the Throne?
"He said Watch the Throne," Fif responded to the notion while laughing and turning to Eminem and then Em's manager Paul Rosenberg, who was standing off camera.
"An EP maybe," 50 added coyly in the clip that appeared on "RapFix Live" on Wednesday (November 28).
Marshall was clearly put on the spot, but didn't dismiss the idea either. Rather than let the speculation run, Em directed the attention back to Fif's upcoming Street King Immortal, where he promises quite a few collaborations between the two. "We actually got a couple of songs on this album too. We have another song off of this album," Em said assuredly.
Eminem is heralded as one of the greatest rap talents that the world has ever seen, but he simply marvels at 50's story-telling ability. "When he tells stories about his life and when he brings you into that world, you really feel like you're a part of that world," he said. "He can paint a picture with his words when he's telling a story that hooks you in and that was one of things that I was really tryna drive home is that point to him when he was making this album."
