Courtney Love asks hip-hop mogul for a reality show

Rock widow Courtney Love has asked hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons for a reality show.

Love recently visited Simmons to discuss a possible reality TV show called Rock Chick, where she would mentor young female rock music aspirants.

The news emerged when she appeared in Simmons' own reality show Running Russell Simmons.

She arrived an hour early for her meeting and got up to her usual antics, gibbering unintelligibly to Simmons' minders until Russell arrived.

She suggested Joan Jett and Debbie Harry as guests, and claimed ''m good at mentoring girls, that's my strength'.

Simmons called her constant subject changes 'nutty'.

This was before she serenaded him with an almost-spoken word version of Patti Smith's 'Rock N Roll Ni**er', showed him enormous mood boards, and asked him to help find her a husband.

At the conclusion of the episode, it remains unclear whether Rock Chick will go into production.
