Courtney Love has hit out at Bruce Springsteen, saying that despite being a nice guy she has a dislike for his music.
Speaking out on her hash tag infused Youtube show #Courtneyon, Love discusses #Springsteen, or the boss as we know him. She says that while he is a nice guy she just can't bear to sit through one of his live shows. The reason? Because the saxophone doesn't belong in rock and roll (apparently).
“Saxophones don’t belong in rock ‘n’ roll,” she says, repeating, “They just don’t belong. I mean, they just don’t belong in rock ‘n’ roll,” says Love. She is refferring of course to Clarence Clemons, who was just inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame as part of the E Street Band alongside Nirvana.
This follows on from Courtney turning over a new leaf at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame herself, choosing to let bygones be bygones with old rival Dave Grohl. Looks like we haven't heard the last of the outspoken side of Love after all.
