Cut Copy have announced they have downed tools for their third album but you will to wait until next year to hear it.
The Melbourne synthpop band will follow-up the award winning 'In Ghost Colours' with the yet-to-be titled album in January, 2011.
In a posting at their MySpace, Cut Copy says, "as we imagine what hell freezing over feels like and winter descends on our makeshift warehouse studio on the outskirts of Melbourne, we're pleased to announce that the recording for Cut//Copy album three is now complete! We'll be mixing it with Ben Allen as soon as we finish the shows below".
Cut Copy was formed in Melbourne in 2001 by DJ Dan Whitford. Tim Hoey and Mitchell Scott completed the line-up in 2003 with Bennett Foddy who has since left the band.
