The Australian star – who is the new face of the British high street chain Marks and Spencer – recently had her first modelling assignment for the retailer and was amused to discover she was considerably smaller than the other stars, including singer V.V. Brown and models Twiggy and Lisa Snowdon.
She said: "It was like being back at school in grade photos: 'All the smaller kids down the front!' Twiggy kindly wore flats and I still rocked a wedge or a high stiletto to try and keep up.
"Minogue genes are good for lots of travel on aeroplanes, you can snuggle into a seat – but vertically, I always need some help!"
Despite not having the height, Dannii – who is currently pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Kris Smith - admitted the other models quickly put her at ease and she is now a bigger fan of 60s icon Twiggy than ever.
She said: "I have to say I was in awe of meeting Twiggy! I was so nervous when I had my first photo shoot with her – just my own insecurities – but as expected she was adorable and made me feel at ease straight away, what a gorgeous woman. I now love her even more, if that is possible."
