The 38-year-old Australian singer recently returned to work as a judge on British televised singing competition The X Factor after giving birth to her and boyfriend Kris Smith’s first child, Ethan, in July.
Music mogul Simon is also on the judging panel, as are Irish band manager Louis Walsh and British pop star Cheryl Cole. Dannii has teased that her baby boy is better behaved than her male colleagues on the show, who are both well-known for being opinionated and getting embroiled in passionate arguments over contestants.
“He’s much better behaved than those boys,” laughed Dannii during an interview on Heart radio. “The tantrums!”
The beautiful singer loves motherhood, and admits she finds it hard to force herself to go to work and leave baby Ethan. Dannii says she really admires women who do mundane jobs they don’t enjoy and still manage to be working mothers, as she thinks if she didn’t have such a glamorous career she’d never leave the house.
“He’s fantastic. It’s pretty hard to drag myself away from him and get to work. [If women don’t like their job] it must be impossible; luckily I have a job I love,” she beamed.
