DANNII MINOGUE has said she is to experiment with a fresh new sound for her chart comeback.
The singer is said to be planning to break away from her dance sound and has teamed up with The Freemasons, who have previously worked with her sister Kylie.
Freemasons star Russell Small told The Daily Telegraph: "Dannii can sing, which is the paramount thing with us.
It's great to be able to do two sisters. It's something a little different for her, I think, because she's used to doing more the dance thing."
Minogue has also recruited producer Richard Stannard, who worked on Kylie's hits 'In Your Eyes', 'Love At First Sight' and 'Light Years'.
The star's most recent single, 2007's 'Touch Me Like That', peaked at number 48 in the UK chart. Her most successful release to date has been 2003's 'I Begin To Wonder', which reached number two.
