Dave Grohl gives NME a tour of his garage studio.
He says that the Foo Fighters ended up recording their latest album in his garage, with absolutely no digital technology.
He actually shows the place where they actually did manual razor and tape edits.
The process, he says, makes the latest album 'sound unlike any other Foo Fighters record'.
He said, 'You hear it and you instantly recognise it as a Foo Fighters song, but it sounds so fucking badass because it's a garage.'
He even admits that they took the album to a proper studio to mix it but since 'it didn't sound like my garage anymore' they returned and mixed it in his house.
