Dave Grohl fans from the Foo Fighters frontman's hometown of Richmond, Virginia have launched a campaign calling on the band to play a homecoming show.
Campaigners on crowdfunding site Crowdhoster have raised $8400 at times of writing in an attempt to have the rocker play a homecoming show for the first time in 15 years. They're selling 1,400 tickets - but the band is so far not involved in the show.
"It's simple. The Foo Fighters haven't played Richmond, Virginia since May 17, 1998," the Bring Foo Fighters Back To RVA campaign page reads. "That's more than 15 years ago and that's way too long. So we're taking it upon ourselves to bring 'em back!"
Goldin also confirms if the show doesn't happen, all money will be returned to those who donated.
