Dave Grohl has landed his very own HBO TV series. The Foo Fighters frontman will present and produce a series which will see him travel to the world's most iconic recording studios.
Grohl's series will see him further explore the topics touched on in his 2013 documentary film Sound City, which saw the musician detail the history of the famous Los Angeles recording studio of the same name.
The as-yet-untitled HBO series will see Grohl travel to, and record music at, the world's most iconic recording studios. He'll also conduct interviews with artists including Kiss' Paul Stanley, Joe Walsh of The Eagles, Heart's Nancy Wilson and head of Dischord Records Ian MacKaye.
Grohl will visit studios including Nirvana producer Steve Albini's Electrical Audio studio in Chicago and Rancho De La Luna studios in California, where the likes of Arctic Monkeys and Queens of the Stone Age have worked - and where Foo Fighters have been recording parts of their forthcoming album.
