DAVID BYRNE is going to turn a London music venue into a giant musical instrument.
The former Talking Heads singer will attach mechanical devices to the beams, pillars and pipes of Camden's Roundhouse for a special music project.
These implements will then be channelled to a keyboard that can be played by visitors.
Titled Playing The Building, the interactive sound installation has been staged before at the Battery Maritime Building in New York and the Färgfabriken building in Stockholm.
The event runs at the Roundhouse from August 8 to 31.
