Music legend David Crosby was arrested on Saturday for drug and gun possession.
The 62 year old star of Crosby, Stills and Nash had been performing just hours earlier with his other band CPR in New Jersey. He had been staying at a Manhattan Hotel but left a bag behind after he checked out.
When staff at the hotel found the bag and went through it to determine ownership, they found marijuana, a gun and a knife and alerted police.
When Crosby returned to the hotel at around 1am to reclaim the bag, police were waiting and arrested him. He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, illegal possession of a hunting knife, illegal possession of ammunition and illegal of possession of one ounce of marijuana.
Crosby was released on $3,500 bail.
David Crosby already had a criminal record. He spent one year in jail in 1985 for drug possession.
