David Guetta fans get ready to compete for the chance to meet the superstar DJ

PureSolo.com the online music recording community has teamed up with hit-maker and DJ extraordinaire, David Guetta, and ebookers.com, to launch an online singing competition in which fans will battle it out for a grand prize of two tickets to see David at one of his spectacular live shows, as well as the opportunity to meet the man himself. The prize also includes a signed platinum disc as well as full travel expenses to the show courtesy of leading online travel agent ebookers.com.

David Guetta has taken the world by storm with his unique blend of house music and pop. Collaborations with the Black Eyed Peas, Akon, Kelly Rowland and Kid Cudi have solidified his place at the top of the charts, and with a new album scheduled for release in November, it seems the best is yet to come.

In this once-in-a-lifetime competition, fans are invited to sing on some of Guetta's biggest hits, featured on his latest chart-topping album One Love. Four songs have been specially remastered with the vocal part removed and entrants are invited to re-record the vocal using PureSolo's online recording facility. The ability to record over David's original tracks in this way is exclusive to PureSolo.

Singers without access to recording equipment need not worry as all the tools needed to create their competition entry are provided at PureSolo.com. The site boasts an online recording facility that makes it easy for anyone to record music using just a microphone and computer.

The competition is due to launch on the 4th October and will run until 14th November 2010. The original backing tracks required for entry are exclusively available at PureSolo.com. The first track will be free, courtesy of ebookers.com, with any subsequent purchases priced at 99p. Once purchased, PureSolo tracks can be re-recorded an unlimited number of times. A judging panel, including representatives from EMI Records, will help David Guetta himself select the winning entry.
