David Guetta admits there are times when he "hates" his own music.
The French producer-and-DJ is famed for collaborating on catchy dance anthems with the likes of Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Kelly Rowland.
The 45-year-old's latest track, Just One Last Time, features newcomers Taped Rai and remains top of David's playlist.
"I love my new single!" he gushed to BBC Radio 1.
"It's funny 'cause normally there is a point where I'm like, 'Oh, I hate this so much,' but I'm not in that zone, I'm like, 'Yeah!' I love it!"
The single is taken from the rerelease of David's album Nothing but the Beat, which features, among others, Jessie J and Usher.
Despite enjoying his work with some of the biggest names in music, fresh talent like Swedish duo Taped Rai is exciting for the star.
"It's a new artist that's singing, it's the first time they're on a record. I just produced some of Rihanna's album... and as much as it's amazing to work with big superstars, it's amazing to see new talent," he explained.
With Christmas fast approaching, David is getting into the festive spirit.
The busy music mogul plans to take some time off over the holidays and admits his wife Cathy is the one doing all the hard work.
"It is a very relaxed time for once and I'm really enjoying it and trying to stay with my family for Christmas," he revealed.
"I have started Christmas shopping... To be honest, my wife is busy... she's doing it. At first I went for a wander but then I was like, 'This is too much for me!' Yes, I'll get her a good gift! If the wife is happy, life is beautiful!"
