Hawaii is in lock-down, gigs have been cancelled and San Diego's Delta Spirit are one of the bands that have been told to head to higher ground.
"We are in Hawaii, our show got cancelled, and there is a Sunami coming. This is insane! @ Hi Fi Hawaii," the band tweeted today.
A 7.7 earthquake struck off the coast of British Columbia, Canada earlier today and the region from Alaska to Hawaii now has a tsunami warning.
According to the U.S. National Weather Service's West Coast/Alaska Tsunami Warning Center "a tsunami has been generated".
The quake was felt across most of British Columbia and was followed by eight aftershocks, the strongest being a 5.8.
People in the coastal regions of Hawaii and Alaska are being told right now to move to higher ground.
