Diana Vickers releases the follow up to her #1 debut album with 'Music To Make Boys Cry' on September 15th
21 year old Diana recently signed a new record deal with independent label, So Recording and the album has been A&R'd by Xenomania lyricist and all-round pop genius Miranda Cooper.
'Music To Make Boys Cry' is a sophisticated collection of 80s-tinged electro bangers and gorgeous synth-lead love songs. The album sessions started in LA when Diana was introduced to Miranda, whose relaxed approach to songwriting immediately fused with Vickers' vision for the album and it went from there.
In addition to working on her music, Diana has just finished filming new Sky Living Comedy, Give Out Girls, which focuses on the story of a group of girls who work in promotions. The sitcom set in Manchester is set to air later this year.
Diana will be back playing live shows in the run up to the album release – dates to be announced.
