The 'Dance Wiv Me' rapper ' whose last record, 'Tongue N' Cheek', came out in 2009 ' has been taking time out from the music industry this year, but he is "looking forward" to starting work on his next project even though he is not sure which direction it will take.
He told BANG Showbiz: "I will have definitely an album out next year.
I haven't really started it yet so I'm not sure what sort of style it will be or who will be involved in it. But I'm looking forward to getting back to it."
His forthcoming release looks unlikely to be a "grime" record, as the 25-year-old 'Bonkers' hitmaker has previously insisted the genre doesn't exist, despite being called a grime artist for the majority of his career.
He said: "Everyone called it grime, but I didn't. All it was was a mixture of all the stuff I was into. There is no such thing as grime.
"It's like hip-hop - journalists make it up. Grime is just a name that's from grimy areas and a lot of grimy s**t happening, but as for the music, it's everything from reggae to drum and bass to Nirvana."
